The federal government has determined through former policy to secure this major investment on behalf of the American people, to do what it can to ensure fairness and honest-dealing throughout the process. It is clear that President Obama recognizes this legacy, and these efforts made today to staunch the foreclosure crisis may plant the seeds that will help to turn around our entire economy.” “President Obama’s housing program represents a significant commitment on the part of his Administration to help stave off further foreclosure and keep people in their homes.
